Today, we will watch the videos below. For your final project, you will create a powerpoint or prezi that explains at least one study abroad program in depth, a trip abroad and a work/volunteer experience. Today, you can work on the following:
American university & Study Abroad Program
Be sure to answer the following questions in your project...
Name of American university and the university abroad
When will you participate? Junior year, Senior year, after graduation, summer, one semester, two semesters?
Cost of program?
What type of program it is...Complete immersion with other students from the host country? Classes with international students learning the target language? Students from your American university?
What is the possibility for credit transfer to your American university? Do you need your credits to transfer?
Trip
The second part of your PowerPoint project is to plan a trip, which includes budget, lodging, transportation, attractions while making connections with other disciplines such as art, music, geography, architecture, etc. Today, try to decide...
1. How long you will travel
2. Which countries and cities you will visit
3. What you will see and experience (make connections with other disciplines)
***Next week, we will discuss transportation and lodging.
At the beginning of many of our seminars, we will continue to watch "snapshots" of interesting places around the world so that you can plan to include them in future travels. Please watch:

Normandy, France: D-Day tour
Normandy, France: Mont St. Michel
